Is it okay forme to love Scrabble and tea so much?
Lucia and i are in the pumpingest hostel in Santiago. It's like beng in first year at university again. Or maybe even at a gig in Belfast somewhere. Everyone is very young and drunk and there's a lot of kissing. It's like being at someone else's house party.
It is in stark contrast to the idealic little paradise called Rapa Nui, or Easter Island in the middle of the Pacific ocean, which we just left. There we also left James and Anna and all these wonderful older couple friends we made. Completely the wine drinking, dinner party and Scrabble generation. My generation.
Our flights all got messed up around Mexico and now Lucia and i are in Chile and James and Anna are in Papette. If you don't know where that is don't worry, needless to say it's very far from here. We'll meet them again in New Zealand. Then they go home and we go to China, to get some nice food.
Chinese takeaways....being thirty?

Great posts as ever Conor - !
I'm getting very exited about the 3rd June. Firstly because it is Pentecost weekend, Secondly because that means it will be the Fete Locale here in the village, (ie a 'Fete' worse than death for those obliged to live within 6 feet of the speakers, as we do), so, Thirdly, it would be nice to spend some time away with you and Lucia, and 150 other people, in an orchard by a river, watching you two get married.
Love, Lucia's Ma, Ix.xx
Hey Conor!
Hope you're doing well and everything! Bekah was just kind enough to remind me of our praying sessions back in NZ, and I suddenly felt a big desire to meet up again and pray! Remember in Israel too? We had some good ones there also! When will you be in NZ eith James and Anna? And when will you be back in Ireland? I'm going to Cook Islands in february to work as a mission builder at the base there... Of course I want to do a DTS, but I don't want to miss the summer camp in June, and I also need some money to go to the university when I get back home. I think I want to become a teacher! Sorry for babbleing so much. I would seriusly love to meet up again sometime and hang out!
Always let Jesus be the center and focus!!!
Blessings
